We had appointments all over the place on saturday to see different houses. We almost bid on a house $579k cause the inside was nice but the outside of the house was sooooo 60′s (they call it Fordham style which I never heard of before but it was ugly as hell). Me and A hemmed and hawed over it for a few hours, mulled over it at Red Robin, then I called W (but I kind of knew what he would say) and then we called Sy. Sy and M are more like us in philosophy so I think talking to Sy really helped get our heads on straight. We were discussing the merits of a new custom made house v an old house that had more square footage. So in the end we decided we would stick with our original plan and go for custom made house (with smaller square footage). We’re number 14 on the list for the new house so we have a really really good chance of getting the house in the next phase which is at the end of Feb. Paul checked our credit reports and he was impressed. A got 760 and I got 790 which is funny as hell that my credit is even better than A since I don’t even have a job. I think they wiped out the fact that he didn’t pay his school loan for half a year since its been 7years since he went delinquent on it. I don’t know why else his credit is worse though. The agent was like a really good score is 680+ so I think we’re in good position.

I spoke to one of the people at Casalon (where we also put our name down on list) and he told me that there’s another new development at Northwood on Jeffrey so we’ll probably check that out soon too.

Jeff called me over the weekend to meet them over at Corona Del Mar beach and I wish we could have gone but we had a million errands to run. Plus me and A totally procrastinated on this school project we had to do for B. This week we had to make some VIP board for B – he’s the VIP for this week. So we made a poster board in shape of robot since he likes robots and we stuck pics all over it. I also wrote his chinese name, the pronunciation for it and the meaning which is heroic, handsome and hope (ying-hei). And we have to make snacks for the class for thursday so our letter is Q >.> So I doubt quiche would go over too well with kids so I’m gonna make cupcakes and put icing and spell out the letter Q. Ms. Liberto said that was fine.

So I asked Jeff if he had taken the California bar and he was like not worth it. He said the pass fail rate for first timers is 50%. That sucks. So he’s like if you’re not gonna practice don’t bother. He didn’t take it. He’s like if you really really want to take it later, then do it when the kids are older cause I’d have to invest about 3 months of serious studying. So I guess the implication is that I can’t wing it haha. Not that I was going to anyway x . Jeff’s really smart so I’m gonna take his advice. He graduated from U mich like achan heh heh.

We rented Lost in Translation so we’ll probably stick that in somewhere between all the reality shows I watch heh heh.
