Well lunar told me that they couldn’t recover my db so I guess that’s that. I’m kind of wondering if I should bother maintaining that account. I guess I’ll play with nucleus or wordpress … maybe.

So let’s see what did I do this week… Al and I went to check out Crystal Cove Park but parking was $10 so we were like hell no. Where do they get off charging $10 for a park? So we drove a little and saw some shop along the road called Shake Shack and guess what we got? Certainly not a shake lol. We got hot dogs O.o Then we drove to Laguna Beach and walked along the shore, sat on the pier and watched people play volleyball. And I had a waffle cone with strawberry cheesecake ice cream … mmmm.

Afterwards we went to Fashion Island and ate at Roy’s which is like Hawaiian Japanese fusion… I had the prix fixe menu with macadamia nut mahi mahi. But we also ordered appetizers: Yellow Fin Ahi Poketini with Wasabi Aioli, Avocado & Tobiko Caviar and we also got sunrise at haleakala or something which was some kind of funky sushi. Was pretty good. The poketini kicked butt tho. Made me crave caviar though. On the apprentice they got to go to a restaurant famous for caviar and I was joking to Al that he doesn’t buy me caviar anymore and that he should take me there. He told me that apparently caviar is really expensive now because they overfarmed it and now its hard to obtain. That sux the big one. My caviar…. :_: Actually I remember Jay got me caviar for my birthday once and I forgot about it in the fridge – it probably spoiled. I could never tell him though. He’d probably kill me because it was pretty fancy caviar. I know… I’m an a$$ But that was back in the old days, when I didn’t appreciate the stuff guys did for me. =P

I also ordered some funky hawaiian martini which wasn’t bad but got me drunk as hell. That drink was strong. So by the time I got to my entree I couldn’t eat anymore. I had to bring 3/4 of the mahi mahi home. How sad. And I picked at the dessert. I so wanted to eat it too. I was sooooo full. Oh well that teaches me.

Yesterday I went to hang out with N. Amazingly, we totally clicked. I had my reservations since last time I spoke with her on the phone I just didn’t get the feeling we were on the same wavelength but we were totally cool with each other so that’s great. I’m definitely gonna try to hang out with her more. In a way I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised since I click with J and since she’s his wife, it should make sense that I would get along with her. I’m pretty picky in terms of the type of friends I like to hang out with. I’m a “straight-shooter” type of girl. So I’m really happy and she’s from NY. What could be better than that? So we figured we’d meet each other weekly. She remembered she caught the bouquet at my wedding lol. Talk about blast from the past.

Today was cool too. Pamela came to pick me up in her x5 and we went to Las Brisas to meet a bunch of girls. Man that x5 was nice. It almost makes me regret that I didn’t test drive it. Maybe if I had test drove it, I would have chosen that instead of the lexus. We just ran out of time and I never got to test driving it which is ironic since that was the suv I had my heart set on to begin with lol. Maybe next time. Her gps is not as good as mine tho XD.

A lot of people were there. Tiffany was there as well as Liz. I didn’t know Liz was gonna be there. But they sat at the other end. There were like 14 other girls there. I mostly chatted with Mary Anne, Pamela, Karen, Joann and Mary. Joann was the one who I saw trip at Heritage Park and had a meltdown. She later told me that she had MS but is this bipolar behavior part of MS? I really don’t know. She seems nice but I’m not sure I could handle emotional people like that. When she flipped out at Heritage I had no idea what to do.

Mary Anne was really cool – she does all this t-mobile stuff at home. Maybe when my contract is up at Verizon, I’ll talk to her more. She says she used to live in Santa Monica. She showed me her blackberry. Supposedly it was on Oprah’s favorites list. She says you can get emails pushed to you regardless of whether you are in a wifi area. That’s pretty cool. Mary Anne did a Corona video edit with her trip to the bahamas. Man I should do some awesome stuff like that. I have a digital camcorder … but I don’t have the compie for it (forgot that’s why I don’t do stuff like that >.>)

Pamela says she teaches a yoga class on fridays. I’m thinking of checking it out. But I told her I’m not that flexible but she told me don’t worry about it. The studio is all the way near University though. I’m kind of lazy. We’ll see.

They’re thinking of going to a comedy club for the next girls nite out. I think I’m down with that. I drank a cosmopolitan tonight but I’m not feeling it surprisingly. I guess my tolerance built up from over the weekend lol. I was totally wasted over the weekend.

Pamela told me about Pageant of the Masters which is apparently living pictures – people paint themselves and dress themselves as famous paintings with musical accompaniment. How cool is that? I’m definitely checking it out next summer. I told her again that if her hubby decides to do a short for his film class, I’m totally into it and to give me a call. She told me she did one over the weekend where she was took a pregnancy test, sfx and all (pee), then she looked at a pregnancy test and it had LSAT written on it showing that she failed lol. She told me his teachers didn’t get it though lol.
