Had to take the lexus in for maintenance yesterday. They gave me a rental car since they were out of loaners. Al told me to insist but I figure no big deal, right? They gave me some crappy oldsmobile car. Man when you’re used to driving a smooth running car, all of a sudden driving this crappy one sux. So I drove over to Barnes and Noble. I bought The Time Traveler’s Wife, The Namesake, Interpreter of Maladies(which won the Pulitzer Prize) and The Nanny Diaries (simply because I was nostalgic for New York). I hate spending so much for books. I got my library card too so I don’t know what my problem is. I should just go to the library and take books out. It’s not like we have space for books. The garage is still full ;_; But anyway, while I was checking out magazines there, I bumped into Lisa and her month old baby. She’s the one who gave me the name of her gardener. I think she was originally from Jersey. She’s Korean and she married a Taiwanese doctor I think. I really click with her. Her friend Evelyn was with her. Evelyn has a 9 month old. Evelyn seemed nice.
