I edited more GNeko today. I’ve been all drugged up from the root canal and not feeling all that energetic but I managed to edit most of GNeko. I only have the last two pages of freetalk left. It’s cool though to have some slack taken off me by joints, and by the new editor Irene who is working on Loveholic. We’re finally gonna release one of our regular projects other than Rin and GNeko. All the Kawai fans must be like wth … we haven’t release any Keijijyou or Loveholic in ages. Keijijyou we also gave someone but she hasn’t emailed me back to let me know what the status is. x Keijijyou must be doomed. That was our first project and we’re still not done with it and it’s already past our first anniversary. Vie vie vie… you need to come back. Our Kawai projects are falling by the wayside lol.

I reread Axiomatic by Jei and then I reread The Best Laid Plans by her also. Really good stuff and she got commissioned fanart by Baby Pen for both on top of that. Soooo lucky.

I tried to read “The Locker Incident” on the 1×2 ml today. I think all these seemingly out of place vocabulary words in the fic were throwing me off. I actually had to look up avunculate. It wasn’t on dictionary.com so I had to google it. It’s a “special relationship between a man and his sister’s children, particularly her sons, which prevails in many societies, notably those characterized by matrilineal descent.” O.o yeah ok. I’m sure I’d use that word a lot. I don’t think I’ll read more of it.

But I love Broken Warriors by pyrzm – wish she would update faster. And as much as I dislike 2x5x2, I really like Maldoror’s writing and she’s writing a new story called Freeport. I was angsting over whether to read it or not. I really dislike seeing Duo with anyone but Heero altho I’m fine with Heero being with any of the other guys but I especially dislike seeing Duo with Wufei. I think it’s because it’s a threat to my deep seated belief in the 1x2x1. Heero can be with others but I somehow don’t feel it threatens the 1x2x1. I know I’m a bit weird. Just that I can see the Duo Wufei thing really well and I hate that. And even more importantly, how can Duo prefer Wufei over Heero. =P Anyway, despite the pairing I had to read it. It’s very interesting. Why why why did it have to be this pairing of all pairings???? But at the same time, I can see that it wouldn’t really have worked with the other characters. *cries* But I guess I’m gonna have to torture myself. It’s too intriguing for me to drop it.
