Well we closed on our apt in NY today. My mom went in my stead. Very cool of her. I think we’ll take them on a vacation or something. Maybe Hawaii. I know they wanted to go this past year. I went to girl’s nite out tonite to December Orange Crush at the Orange County Museum of Art. It was me, Mary, Kelly, Edwige and Michelle. I was the earliest one there and I was fifteen minutes late lol. I guess everyone is a late person. I got my usual cosmo but the bartender used white cranberry juice so made me feel like I was buying a different drink wheee $7/cosmo. Then we got a tour of local artists. I was so so about the stuff. One was kind of interesting using computer graphics on sand. One gallery had nekkid people. One had landscapes done by those african beads people put in their hair, and one was just a bunch of scraps of print media put on this huge canvas and also on these random soccer balls laid out in front of the artwork. Art is definitely not what it used to be x Somehow we missed the “make your own animation cell” section – how did that happen -_- I really wanted to do that but I guess I totally missed the boat on that. Then I watched “The Big Lebowski” – never seen that before. I think the buzz definitely helped the movie be funnier. That was one seriously screwy movie. Then I drove home partially buzzed. Not a good idea. I think I’ll get one less drink next time. They said they want to go to a club next time in Hollywood – Industrial music but Mary doesn’t like industrial music so maybe they’ll switch what club they go to. If the timing is right I’ll probably go.
