I just read Beneath You which Bebi turned me on to. *huggles bebi* I really liked it. This is the first HP fanfic that I can seriously say I liked. More recs please … (not with H/S though). I’m trying to read the other H/S one that was recced to me but I can’t get into it. Good premise, just not crazy about the pairing.

hehe nps nps i’m glad you liked it <3 to me it's the best one out there, but a lot of ppl actually think otherwise.
there are some classic h/d fanfics out there that EVERYONE has read, but the ones that i would rec are:

this site linkhas a massive load of recs, but the majority of them are dark, angsty fiction. hehe depends on what’s your cup of tea really.

Thanks for the recs!! Yeah I really liked it because I could actually buy that they may fall in love. I think that was the hardest obstacle for me. Suspending disbelief. But she wrote it in such a way that it really seemed possible. I read Beautiful World – so sad *baps bebi for making her read a deathfic*. I usually avoid death fics like the plague in GW fandom but I guess I can forgive you here. I’m not so entrenched yet that I can’t bear the characters dying off lol. And angst? It’s ALL about the angst baby lol.

haha yeah i don’t like death fics very much neither~ but this one was done with such good taste that i just had to rec it. i think it’s because the theme of the story wasn’t death~ it was love, and that makes it worth it =D many death fics are way too dark and depressing for me to like.
