So let’s see … today was good. I cleaned up my house – it’s amazing what a clean house can do for your mood. Still too many things lying around but for the most part pretty clean. Hung out with Sugene, Nancy and Teresa at school for a bit. Sugene wants me to come over for breakfast tomorrow. She asked me what kind of bagels I want so I asked for cinammon raisin and Nancy “ewwwed” me >.> She’s like cinammon raisin and cream cheese? EWWWWWW. Freak. But she’s outnumbered. Sugene and Teresa both also like cinammon raisin. =P
Andrew is going to come over to play with B tomorrow afternoon. I’m probably going to invite Faith also. But Teresa and Sugene both like coffee – I don’t know how to make coffee.
Al always made the coffee for everyone but he won’t be around. What to do… Guess I have to make a run to supermarket tomorrow. I don’t even know what coffee to buy or tea for that matter. I should buy tea too in case they want tea instead. I don’t even know what brands to get. :/ I’ll probably make them make the coffee because I sure as hell don’t know how to make it.
The babysitter Lisa came over. The kids absolutely adore her – it’s so freaky. But she’s great. Then we went to eat Thai food at Thai Bamboo Bistro. I haven’t had thai in so long. We got satay, thai spring rolls, penang curry chicken, fish on a fake-out bamboo leaf (we thought it was gonna be on a real leaf), and pad thai. I also got coconut juice in a coconut – cute but too lukewarm (i like my drinks ice cold).
Afterwards, we went to Angela and Kevin’s house. They live on the other side of Quail Hill on weathervane. Their house is HUGE. They told us they used to live at Solstice which was the first phase, first community and they lived there only 2 years. I guess they flipped it and made a lot of money to buy this house. They both lived in NY before so that was really cool. We met a lot of people there. Ted went to Columbia (168th street campus tho). His wife Monica seems cool – she said she went to school in England. Ruth went to Stuyvesant like I did – another NY-er wheee. Jason’s a doctor. Clay I think is Japanese – or at least that’s what Al said – I didn’t catch his last name but Al said it was a long Japanese name =P. Cathy didn’t say much so don’t remember a thing about her. Dave’s sister skated against Michelle Kwan or something X.x Christine didn’t change her maiden name same as me and for the same reason (nyaaa Al
). Howard is some kind of insurance benefits consultant or something. Hope I remember all their names next time I see them.
Anyway we played some ice breaker games. The first one was that we had to say answer 4 things hobby (anime), favorite dish (chicken tikka masala), favorite movie (when harry met sally) and favorite vacation spot (paris) and then after everyone was finished, we had a limited amount of time to write down the 4 things of each person. I got 38/48 things right. I shocked myself. Normally I can barely remember people’s names. The high score was 44. The low score was 28 lol.
The second game was fun. We each had to say 4 things about yourself. 3 truths and 1 lie. You had to write down what you thought was everyone’s lie. Was really fun and I got Al wrong >.> I think I misunderstood one of his answers. He choices were 1) he broke the federal law regarding transfer of drugs into the country 2) drank 14 vodka shots in one hour 3) hitchhiked 90 miles to go home after a motley crue concert 4) thinks Isabella Rosellini is hotter than Jennifer Anniston.
Snacks were grapes, cookies and oranges. I have to figure out a snack to bring to one of the meetings.

Oh I didn’t change my maiden name because I thought it was too much trouble to change all my documents i.e. law degree, ny bar license, driver’s license, passport, cc, well you get the drift… And besides Al’s last name is missing a vowel (jk)
