Went out to dinner last nite for V-day cause the church people set up a date night for everyone so they could drop kids off so of course we were gonna take advantage of that – free babysitting!! We went to Opah. I had some fish thingie with risotto – it was a special. We also had the ahi tuna tartare, articchoke and mussels and clams. Al had the opah. It was suppose to be a top rated trendy restaurant so I guess I was expecting NY standards and erm … >.> Was ok.

Went to Chinese New Year festival on saturday to watch lion dancing and parade in L.A. Was ok. Better than NY. In NY you wouldn’t be able to move because it’s so crowded. We lit smoke bombs and let the kids play with those pop things. We would have lit our sparklers but we didn’t get around to it. Maybe we’ll do it in our backyard tonight. And man those bakeries fleeced us. They charged us $1 for dan tat >.> a regular one at that and $1 for those sesame balls (the ones you can usually get 3 for $1). But I’ve been craving it so I buckled. They had a makeshift amusement park set up too and lots of booths and whatnot and food. Was fun.

And we released a chapter of our cursed keijijyou project today – yay and happy valentine’s day everyone.
