I watched the kodocha dvd. Was kind of weird. They had Ultra Relax for the first op. And during the scene with Tokio, there was complete silence during the japanese audio (the subs were there but with the names and band name X’ed out). The whole scene was silent – very weird. But it really feels like like Power Puff girls do Kodocha. I’m not used to the voice they have for Sana Laura Bailey – much lower than I expected and sounds older than I imagined. It’s not bad though. She’s got the pacing right altho they really changed the dialogue but for American audiences I think it fits. I think they couldn’t have done a better job. Much better than I thought it would be. Sana is so hard. But they adapted it pretty well for American audiences. She did a pretty cool rap too even if the words were different it was still funny. And Hayama X_x, he sounds so old, doesn’t sound as cool. I keep trying to be objective and not think about the japanese voices but man it’s so hard. I think it might actually do ok though. Next week I’m gonna play it for B and see what he thinks altho he’s all into Naruto now so who knows. ^_~ I can’t really watch the dub tho anymore. I’m too attached to the japanese voices. I just wanted to see if they could succeed with Sana talking fast – they did pretty well but not as great as it is in Japanese. They took the hyperactivity down a notch. It doesn’t seem as crazy cool. Oh well. Could have been worse.

Can’t wait for Parakiss anime – the promo with George was sooo cool. (Promo bt) I keep watching it on an endless loop just like did the other day XD Damn he looks good! Better than even the manga. Seeing him in motion is sooooo sexy. Yukari not so much but then who cares about her haha!! And the song is really cool too. Definitely want that song.
