So I went to see In her shoes with Angela, Ruth, Monica, Wendy, and Elise. It was a total chick flick and it was so fun to see it with just girls. I think the whole audience was made up of just girls lol and maybe one guy. It was sweet, funny and cute but one drawback I think was the editing. They should have condensed the scenes tighter. It was a wee bit draggy at parts. At any rate, I really do click with these girls and I really like hanging out with them. Hopefully this is a sign of good things in the future. We sort of made a promise to each other to try to open up to each other and make the quality of our interactions meaningful. Easier said than done but hey at least we’re trying.

The funny thing is that when I was single, it was all about dating and guys and having friendships with guys. I never really needed gfs much – of course I had my requisite few but for the most part, I usually hung out with guy friends. And now at this point in my life, it’s all about girls. I think I have more friends now that are girls than I have ever had in my life at one time. Ah the irony. It used to be all about the guys and now it’s all about the girls lol. I’m not sure how I came to this point. Perhaps I have more in common with girls now than I ever did before whereas before I had more in common with guys. Who knows x
