I watched episode 3 of Hana Yori Dango. Such bad acting in HYD. I think that Nanako Matushima who plays Tsubaki is the only really truly good one in the whole cast. The chemistry is so lacking between all the players. Lots of the scenes and acting make me cringe. But when all is said and done, I still find it amusing to watch.

I can’t watch it though while thinking about the manga otherwise it makes me crazy. It’s so unlike the original storyline and some of the characters are so out of character. I realize they have to condense things but really it’s kind of annoying. Combining characters into one, deleting what I think were key characters that affected their relationship. I think it could have been handled better.

Shun is the worst. I think the casting agent made a mistake in the casting of this drama. I think Jun is best only when he’s acting in a scene with Nanako. Maybe she brings out the best in him then. He does have his moments here and there but if I were to compare to the manga he’s also just not what I pictured Tsukasa to be. I also really don’t think this drama is developing the relationship Tsukasa has with Makino fast enough. It seemed more about Rui and Makino. I guess maybe episode 4 on should move it forward faster since Rui will be out of the picture.

And app_aratus if you’re reading this, gomen. We are so far apart in our opinion about this drama. I told artemis30 your opinion of this drama and seriously we don’t get it. But then last night we had this long conversation in #kodocha with a couple of other people also watching the drama and one of them, yukiyawa told us that she thought HYD was much better than H2. In fact she said the acting was really bad in H2. I almost died. I loved H2. So there you have it, the world is a wonderful place. So many people think differently about things. But I forgive you for your lapse since you introduced me to Harry Draco shipping lol. (jk ^_~)
