Tried to do christmas shopping this weekend. What a madhouse. Then we met Stan and his new girlfriend Judy at Kappo Sui. Was pretty good. We ordered a bunch of small plates including monkfish liver, shitake mushroom with fishcake, beef, butterfish with miso sauce, some kind of mochi fish thing, black cod with potato (this one wasn’t good), and a bunch of sushi including spiderleg sushi or something. Judy was pretty quiet at first but then after boba tea, we went to our house and she warmed up when she saw our dog. Guess she’s a dog person. Then we watch “Chung King Express” on dvd. They hadn’t seen it yet. It wasn’t as good as I remembered. I think that for that time when it came out, it was cool but now it’s eh. Guess we outgrew it. Then Stan told me Eva set a wedding date and that it was in May and so I had to email Jay and find out when he was getting married. He set a date in May also. And these are two people who would definitely kill me if I didn’t go to their respective weddings. =P Luckily they chose different dates. I was dreading having to fly to San Fran and then back for another wedding on the same day. We’ve done three weddings in one weekend before and it is soooo NOT fun.

Been trying to download Shinsengumi since said it was better than Yoshitsune although she said Yoshitsune is getting interesting. Think she’s on episode 8 or something. I haven’t had a chance to watch anything because I’ve been bting Shinsengumi for a long time. It’s taking forever with this batch torrent. I’m at about 80% though so maybe just a couple of more days before I get my compie back =P
