I love love love it.

Bought it at Fry’s yesterday for about $1550 not including tax.
Specs: 1.2 Gz, 8.9″ Wide SVGA, 512 MB, 30GB, Windows XP Tablet Edition, 2.2 lbs., standard 3 cell battery

It’s great. I can write using the stylus in a text program as simple as notepad and the TIP (which is the tablet input window) picks up your handwriting and automatically converts it into text. I don’t have word installed on the laptop which is annoying. I didn’t buy an external cd/dvd drive yet so I couldn’t install it. Anyway, so I haven’t tested it on word but I’m sure it would work. It has a couple of other programs on it that is pretty cool but I haven’t been playing with them yet so no real opinion – it came with “Ritepen”, “Journal” and “Evernote”. I think “Evernote” is supposed to be like “Onenote” which Keith has for his Toshiba M200. I find Evernote kind of a pain but maybe it’s because I’m not used to it.

Wireless works perfectly. When I turn the monitor around to use it in “slate” mode, it automatically adjusts from landscape to portrait mode. Soooo cool~ I haven’t tried drawing on it but I doubt I would use this to draw on other than for messing around. I installed the Tablet PC Experience Pack from MS. It came with an a crossword game, art program and some other miscellaneous things. It also has a fingerprint sensor – how cool is that? I haven’t tried it yet tho but I will~

Anyway I would play with it more but I have to read a book for my bookclub meeting tonight – gah talk about procrastination…

I took some pics of my lovely adorable laptop~
